Traffic Management Specialist

FM Conway is seeking a skilled Traffic Management Specialist to join our Traffic Light division based in Stevenage. As a key member of our team, you will work on a full-time, permanent basis, with opportunities for day shifts or night shifts.
The successful candidate will be responsible for setting up temporary traffic lights, installing, maintaining, and removing traffic management systems. You will work closely with our management team and crews to ensure the safe and efficient delivery of our services.
Key Responsibilities- Setting up temporary traffic lights as required
- Assisting with traffic diversion and ensuring public compliance with traffic lights
- Maintaining and removing traffic lights within the required timeframe
- Managing traffic flow at temporary traffic lights and ensuring public safety
- Working closely with management and crews to take instructions and ensure site safety
- Conducting on-site assessments and taking appropriate action in emergency situations
- Participating in a rota-based on-call system, if required
To be considered for this role, you must have knowledge of traffic management operations, hold a valid CSCS card, and possess at least one of the following traffic management tickets: Lantra –, M1/2, M5, M6, 12AB Operatives, and LTMO / TMF. You must also be able to read and interpret CAD traffic management drawings and be aware of and comply with provided RAMS.
