Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct daily maintenance checks on vehicles and report any defects immediately.
  • Inspect products during transit and highlight any damaged items or movements.
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant laws and regulations while driving.
  • Unload deliveries according to customer instructions and verify contents against delivery manifests.
  • Complete deliveries in a timely and safe manner.
  • Verify collections before signing documentation.
  • Maintain accurate administration and adhere to health and safety procedures.
  • Assist with warehouse and yard housekeeping as needed.
  • Return failed deliveries, damages, or returns to the warehouse with relevant paperwork.
  • Liaise with delivery helpers during collections and deliveries.
Requirements:
  • Valid UK Category C1 Driving Licence.
  • Valid CPC and Digital Tachograph.
