They are currently seeking a knowledgeable Lead Mechanical Project Coordinator to enhance their dynamic team.

The primary objective is to expand the company's clientele within the medical imaging sector, securing contracts and projects with other main contractors.

Consequently, the organization requires project management support to oversee operations across various locations.

The vision is to further develop the business in the medical imaging field, aspiring to become the leading supplier to major contractors.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Leading and managing mechanical engineering projects from initiation to completion.
  • Overseeing project planning, execution, and delivery within established timelines, budgets, and quality benchmarks.
  • Participating in project handovers with relevant estimators.
  • Collaborating with the design team, whether in-house or external, to coordinate design efforts and incorporate insights from site assessments.
  • Conducting basic design tasks, including AutoCAD drawings and project coordination.
  • Managing projects from inception to conclusion, including site visits and commissioning stages.
  • Coordinating labor requirements, whether through internal resources or subcontractors.
  • Controlling project costs and managing valuations and cash flow.
  • Attending to weekend or out-of-hours work as necessary, including crane and lifting operations.
  • Providing essential information for Operations & Maintenance Manuals and ensuring accurate documentation of design changes for 'As Fitted Drawings.'

Additionally, you will identify opportunities for process enhancements, efficiency improvements, and standardization of project management methodologies. You will also provide leadership and direction to project teams, including mechanical engineers, technicians, and contractors.
