The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring the successful execution of programmes while adhering to technical specifications, budget constraints, and timelines.
Key Responsibilities:
- Developing a comprehensive Storyboard that aligns with the overall Bid Strategy.
- Analyzing and extracting requirements from ITT/RFQ/RFP documentation to facilitate the bidding process.
- Creating detailed schedules for proposed programmes in collaboration with the team and securing agreement from other departments.
- Collecting internal and external cost data, optimizing expenses while ensuring project delivery.
- Guaranteeing the successful completion of programmes in accordance with technical specifications, budgetary limits, and timelines.
- Maintaining consistency in programme performance, revenue generation, and cash flow milestones.
- Reviewing contractual documents and addressing any discrepancies or issues.
- Establishing and updating a Programme Management Plan.
- Tracking progress with internal stakeholders and initiating corrective actions and schedule adjustments as necessary.
- Collaborating with the Project Team to finalize the schedule and ensure consensus among the Team and Client.
- Providing regular verbal and written updates to the Programme Delivery Manager and Executive to identify potential concerns promptly.
Qualifications:
- Proficiency in MS Project for managing cost and schedule compliance is essential.
- Prince2 Certification or equivalent qualification is preferred.
- Demonstrated experience in programme management or a similar role.
- Strong leadership capabilities with a talent for motivating and inspiring teams.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Outstanding organizational and time management skills.
- Experience with various project management tools and metrics is crucial.
- Background in software or electronic hardware development is advantageous.
- Project Management experience and relevant qualifications are desirable.
- Experience collaborating with engineering and technical personnel at all levels.
- Proven track record in managing advanced electronic systems or equipment design projects with significant client interaction.
- Solid understanding of contractual terms and conditions.
