About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Occupational Therapist to join our team at Outcomes First Group. As a Specialist Occupational Therapist, you will play a key role in delivering high-quality therapeutic services to individuals with complex needs, including autism, complex trauma, and developmental trauma.

As a member of our multi-disciplinary team, you will work closely with colleagues from Psychology, Speech and Language Therapy, and other professionals to provide a holistic and integrated approach to care and education. Your expertise will be essential in developing and implementing bespoke assessment and intervention plans that meet the unique needs of our service users.

We are looking for a practitioner who is passionate about delivering outstanding therapeutic services and has a clear vision for what this looks like in practice. You will need to demonstrate drive, motivation, and resilience, as well as the ability to work collaboratively with a range of stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver high-quality occupational therapy services to individuals with complex needs
  • Develop and implement bespoke assessment and intervention plans
  • Work collaboratively with multi-disciplinary teams to provide a holistic approach to care and education
  • Contribute to the development of therapeutic services and policies
  • Participate in training and professional development opportunities
Requirements
  • Relevant Occupational Therapy qualification
  • Registered with the HCPC
  • Training in sensory integration
  • Experience in managing multi-disciplinary teams
  • Experience of working with adults and/or children who are autistic or who have an intellectual disability and/or additional needs
  • Ability to work collaboratively with a range of key partners
  • Able to work sensitively with people and resolve conflict effectively
  • Evidence of continuing professional development relevant to the setting
