Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Occupational Therapist to join our team at Outcomes First Group. As a Specialist Occupational Therapist, you will play a key role in delivering high-quality therapeutic services to individuals with complex needs.

About the Role

The successful candidate will be responsible for providing occupational therapy services to individuals with neurodevelopmental disorders, including autism and ADHD. You will work closely with a multidisciplinary team to develop and implement individualized treatment plans, focusing on promoting independence, self-advocacy, and community integration.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct comprehensive assessments to identify individual needs and develop tailored treatment plans
  • Deliver occupational therapy services, including sensory integration, adaptive equipment, and daily living skills training
  • Collaborate with other professionals, including psychologists, speech therapists, and educators, to ensure comprehensive support
  • Monitor progress, adjust treatment plans as needed, and communicate effectively with families and caregivers
  • Participate in team meetings, contribute to service development, and engage in ongoing professional development
Requirements
  • Relevant occupational therapy qualification and registration with the HCPC
  • Experience working with individuals with neurodevelopmental disorders, including autism and ADHD
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with ability to work collaboratively with diverse stakeholders
  • Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and manage multiple responsibilities
  • Commitment to ongoing professional development and staying up-to-date with best practices in occupational therapy
