As a Global Commercial Product Manager at ELEMIS, you will play a critical role in driving the commercial success of our products. Your primary responsibility will be to analyze and evaluate global product performance, identifying opportunities for growth and improvement.
Key Responsibilities:- Commercial Insights: Lead the commercial insights for new launches, including profitability, viability, and cannibalization analysis.
- Discontinuation Process: Work with the Chief Innovation Officer to manage the discontinuation process, including low-performing product rationalization and sell-through strategy.
- Product Strategy: Contribute to product strategy through the evaluation of product performance data and periodic reviews with key business stakeholders.
- Commercial Analysis: Own the commercial analysis of business forecasts, facilitating General Manager approvals and providing context on marketing calendars and forecasted rank in external sell-out reports.
- Marketing Calendar Evaluation: Commercially evaluate the marketing calendar, highlighting key insights and gaps to the Chief Innovation Officer, Chief Brand Officer, and General Managers.
- Campaign Insights: Provide commercial insights for key campaigns, such as Christmas, collaborating with Global Brand Marketing and Supply Chain to present a consolidated global view.
- Product Viability: Work with Global Brand and NPD to define kits and collection commercial viability, including COG targets and margins to ensure profitability year-over-year.
- S&OP Process: Support the S&OP process by providing monthly product performance updates on productivity, NPD contribution, calendar commercials, and NPD performance.
- External Reporting: Utilize external reporting (Circana, Kantar, Nielsen, etc.) to provide business with Elemis performance, rankings, key learnings, and context for future NPD positioning in the Prestige Skincare market place.
- Continuous Improvement: Continuously seek to improve and evolve product reporting and forecasting as business needs progress and grow.
- Excellent Analytical Skills: Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Product Experience: Product experience previously.
- Global Consumer Business: Experience in a global consumer business, or a luxury retail environment.
- Communication Skills: Ability to maintain positive relationships and effective communication.
- Data Analysis: Comfortable with large amounts of data and able to produce accurate, timely reporting.
- Technical Skills: Strong Excel skills and used to manipulating large amounts of data into presentable reports. Proficient in Business Intelligence tools, such as Tableau.
