Job Description

English Teaching Assistant Position

We are seeking a highly motivated and enthusiastic individual to join our team as an English Teaching Assistant. This is a fantastic opportunity for an aspiring English Teacher to gain valuable experience and develop their skills in a supportive and dynamic environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supporting KS3-5 English lessons to raise attainment and improve student outcomes
  • Assisting with GCSE and A Level interventions to ensure students meet their full potential
  • Working closely with the English Department to develop and implement effective teaching strategies
  • Providing individualized support to students to help them overcome challenges and achieve their goals

Requirements:

  • Desirable degree in English or a related subject from a reputable University
  • Good A Levels and GCSEs across the board
  • Ability to engage and motivate students to achieve their best
  • Commitment to delivering high-quality teaching and learning
