About the Role

We are seeking an exceptional Chief Executive Officer to lead Headway Norfolk and Waveney, a dynamic and impactful charity dedicated to empowering brain injury survivors and their families. As CEO, you will have the opportunity to shape the strategic direction, inspire a passionate team, and drive meaningful change in the community.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide strategic vision and leadership to the operation and development of Headway Norfolk and Waveney, ensuring alignment with the charity's mission and goals.
  • Ensure the effective management and administration of the charity, within the governance and accountability frameworks established by the Board of Trustees.
  • Work closely with the Chair to enable the Trustees to fulfill their duties and legal responsibilities.
  • Develop and implement a bold and ambitious new strategy, driving growth and impact in a challenging funding environment.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including donors, funders, and partners.
Requirements
  • Substantial experience of working at both management and strategic level, ideally within the charitable sector.
  • Proven track record of implementing strategic visions, managing budgets, and leading teams.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with diverse stakeholders.
  • Good understanding of company and charity law, with the ability to analyze systems and procedures.
  • Ability to inspire and motivate a team, driving them towards a shared vision and goals.
