Education and Children's Wellbeing Practitioners CWP&EMHP

About the Role
We are seeking highly motivated and enthusiastic practitioners to work and train within our award-winning Voluntary Sector services based in Croydon and Merton. The training posts will equip the post-holders to provide interventions for children, young people or families using evidence-based interventions consistent with the training.
Key Responsibilities
- Work in partnership with Croydon Drop in (CDI) and Off The Record (OTR), as well as working collaboratively with Children, young people, parents/carers and professionals from a range of services.
- Deliver evidence-based guided self-help interventions for children and young people experiencing mild to moderate mental health difficulties.
- Support children, young people and parent/carers who are referred into the MHST or community services.
Requirements
- Postgraduate Diploma course in Education and Mental Health Practitioner or equivalent.
- Experience working with children, young people and families.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities.
What We Offer
Fixed term post with this training year funded by the NHS. After successful completion of the course the fixed term training contract will end however we will seek recurrent funding. Applicants will be encouraged to stay within their existing service providers or apply for vacant posts within our services and will be provided support and advice in job applications.
