We are seeking an experienced Signalling Project Manager to oversee a long-term project in the Glasgow area. The successful candidate will have a strong understanding of project delivery and experience in the rail industry, with a proven track record of managing re-signalling projects in the UK.
Key Responsibilities- Responsible for ensuring operational safety in accordance with company policies and procedures.
- Carry out CDM I Principal Contract duties on authorised contracts where applicable.
- Responsible for monitoring and achieving key measures in relation to HSQE.
- Performing safety tours in line with company procedure and performance management requirements.
- Ensure accidents and incidents are investigated and reported in a timely manner.
- Ensure employees and contractors receive training, HSQE Briefs, safety documentation and PPE relevant to their positions.
- Ensuring that delegated work is correctly planned, resourced, executed in accordance with client specifications, standards, agreed work methodology, relevant legislation, technical, safety and environmental standards.
- Attend internal and external HSQE meetings as appropriate or assign competent deputy.
- Provide an operational report to the Operations Director detailing health & safety issues at the frequency stipulated by the Head of Rail.
