About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Sustainability Coordinator to join our Quality and Sourcing team at New Look. As a key member of our sustainability team, you will play a crucial role in delivering our Kind to Our Core Strategy and broader sustainability objectives.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support the Junior Manager and Manager in delivering sustainability objectives and targets
  • Contribute to data management and reporting, including analysis and creation of reports
  • Lead on Kind product processes, including approvals and data management
  • Engage with Buying teams on progress review meetings
  • Support external reporting through third parties, including Textile Exchange CFMB
  • Contribute to environmental projects and initiatives
  • Develop and maintain knowledge of sustainable materials, ESG, and sustainability
  • Communicate sustainability information to retail colleagues and support centre colleagues
  • Manage data systems, including Higg, Transaction Certificate tracking, and Bette Cotton Platform
  • Support materiality assessment development
  • Collect industry news and assist in research exercises
  • Monitor sustainability team inboxes and respond to queries
  • Assist in creating and delivering training on sustainability
Requirements
  • Previous experience in a sustainability role or relevant work experience
  • Passion for sustainability and the environment
  • Strong skills in Microsoft Office, specifically Excel
  • Ability to analyze data and create reports
  • Good researcher and communicator
  • Collaborative and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to travel for work, where needed
