As a Building Surveyor, you'll play a key role in providing expert advice to clients on commercial property matters, including building surveys, cost management, and project management.

About the Role

  • Undertake building surveys and prepare reports to provide clients with expert advice on commercial property matters.
  • Prepare specifications for and administer repair and refurbishment contracts, ensuring that projects are delivered on time and within budget.
  • Prepare and negotiate schedules of dilapidations and exit strategies to help clients navigate complex property issues.
  • Develop and implement planned preventative maintenance plans to ensure the long-term sustainability of commercial properties.
  • Assist with the coordination of portfolio instructions and undertake other duties as required to support the team.
  • Build strong relationships with clients and colleagues, providing exceptional client service and support.

What We're Looking For

  • A strong track record of experience in building surveying, with a focus on commercial property matters.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with clients and colleagues.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to provide expert advice on complex property matters.
  • A flexible and adaptable approach, with the ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
  • MRICS (Building Surveying) qualification, with a proven track record of experience in a commercial consultancy.
