We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Cleaning Operative to join our team at Nexgen Group, a leading provider of professional cleaning and grounds maintenance services.
About the Role:
- This is a permanent position, working 38 weeks per year, Monday to Friday, with a choice of two time slots: 3:30pm - 5:30pm or 4:30pm - 6:30pm.
- The successful candidate will work 10 hours per week, earning £11.54 per hour.
Key Responsibilities:
- Dust, damp wipe or wash walls, skirting boards, handrails, ledges, window sills, radiators, lifts, doors, and frames.
- Sweep and mop floors, using brushes or dust control mops.
- Empty waste bins and transport waste material to designated collection points.
- Mix cleaning supplies in the correct quantities for safe use.
- Replenish consumable items, such as soap, toilet rolls, and paper towels.
- Clean kitchens, toilets, urinals, hand basins, and sinks.
Requirements:
- Local to the area.
- IT literate, with experience using tablets and smartphone apps.
- Good communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Previous experience in a cleaning environment is essential.
