Claims Manager

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Commercial Claims Manager to join our team at Carpenters Group. As a key member of our claims team, you will be responsible for overseeing and controlling the claims function across all motor claims areas, including AD.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide a high-level overview of claims performance and identify trends across the claims process.
- Develop and coach team managers to maximize their performance and that of their teams.
- Analyze data and predict trends to provide recommendations to our Insurer clients.
- Work with clients to enhance delivery of customer service and claims strategy for respective processes.
- Ensure data is disseminated across teams to understand team/individual performance.
- Oversee completion of monthly audits in accordance with business policy.
- Work with training/QA to ensure the collation and delivery of appropriate training sessions.
- Quality check team managers to ensure 121s/appraisals/PDPs are completed in line with above.
- Liaise with team managers to address instances of poor performance.
- Identify talent and support the development of your people.
- Drive your own development by actively seeking development opportunities.
- Keep up to date with developments in the insurance industry/legal industry.
- Ensure customers and the business are kept safe through team compliance to all procedural and regulatory legislation.
Requirements:
- Strong level of commercial acumen with motor claims experience at senior level essential.
- Insurance claims trend analysis.
- Thorough knowledge of end-to-end motor claims processes.
- Supervisory/management experience in claims environment.
- Preferred working knowledge of claims IT systems.
- Working knowledge of Microsoft software (Excel).
