We are seeking a highly skilled and enthusiastic Swimming Instructor to join our team at Kings Camps. As a Swimming Instructor, you will be responsible for delivering engaging and safe swimming lessons to children of various ages and abilities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver high-quality swimming lessons to groups of mixed ability children
- Ensure the safety and well-being of children at all times
- Supervise children during swimming sessions and lunch breaks
- Participate in poolside activities and events
- Collaborate with colleagues to achieve team goals and objectives
Requirements:
- 12 months experience as a swimming instructor
- Up-to-date SEQ Level 2 or STA Level 2 certification
- Current lifeguard qualification (NPLQ or NRASTC)
- Experience working with children aged 5-17
- Ability to plan and deliver engaging swimming activities for mixed ability groups
- Knowledge of conducting depth testing and risk assessments
