- Provide ongoing technical support and troubleshooting for nutrition and dietetics-related health technology.
- Conduct regular system audits to ensure optimal performance and compliance with healthcare standards.
- Update and maintain software and hardware components as necessary. - User Training and Education
- Develop and deliver training programs for healthcare professionals and dietitians on the use of nutrition and dietetics technology.
- Create user manuals, guides, and other educational materials to support technology adoption. - Data Management and Analysis
- Ensure accurate and secure data entry, storage, and retrieval for nutritional and dietary information.
- Analyze data to provide insights and support evidence-based dietary recommendations and interventions. - Quality Improvement
- Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of health technology in nutrition and dietetics.
- Identify areas for improvement and implement changes to enhance system efficiency and patient care outcomes. - Compliance and Standards
- Ensure that all technology solutions comply with healthcare regulations, standards, and best practices.
- Stay informed about advancements in health technology and nutrition science to ensure the integration of the latest innovations. - Collaboration and Communication
- Work closely with dietitians, nutritionists, healthcare providers, and IT teams to align technology solutions with clinical goals.
- Participate in interdisciplinary meetings and projects to support integrated healthcare delivery.
- Education
- Bachelor's degree in Health Informatics, Nutrition and Dietetics, Computer Science, or a related field. - Experience
- Proven experience in health technology implementation and support, preferably within a nutrition or dietetics context. - Skills
- Strong understanding of nutrition and dietetics principles and practices.
- Proficiency in health informatics and technology integration.
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Strong communication and training abilities.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary team environment.
- Knowledge of healthcare regulations and standards related to health IT and nutrition. - Technical Skills
- Familiarity with EHR systems such as Epic, Cerner, or similar platforms.
- Proficiency in database management and data analysis tools.
- Understanding programming languages and software development is a plus.
This is a full-time position with a salary of £39,000.00 per year. Benefits include bereavement leave, company pension, employee discount, free parking, on-site parking, sick pay, store discount, and UK visa sponsorship.
Language RequirementEnglish is not required.
Work ScheduleThis position is for a day shift, Monday to Friday.
