About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Food and Beverage Supervisor to join our team at the Mercure Paignton and the Ibis Styles Paignton. As a key member of our hospitality team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our restaurants and bars, providing exceptional customer service, and leading a team of servers and host/hostesses.

Key Responsibilities
  • Supervise and manage shifts, including breakfast, lunch, dinner, and bar operations
  • Lead and motivate a team of servers and host/hostesses to deliver excellent customer service
  • Assign duties and provide training and guidance to team members
  • Handle guest queries and complaints in a professional and efficient manner
  • Develop the skills of team members through training and coaching initiatives
  • Oversee stock ordering processes to optimize availability and ensure efficient management of resources
Requirements
  • Previous Food and Beverage Supervisory experience
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills
