Clinical Negligence Paralegal Role

Gemini Recruitment Services Ltd is seeking a dedicated and experienced Clinical Negligence Paralegal to join our team. As a leading recruitment agency specialising in legal recruitment, we provide a highly focused service to Solicitors, Legal Executives, Trainee Solicitors, Paralegals, and Legal Support Staff.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Reporting directly to the Department Director, you will be responsible for assisting with casework, including dealing with a range of Clinical Negligence cases.
  • Attending clients, taking instructions, and preparing cases.
  • Dealing with correspondence and managing a challenging case-load of clients' matters from inception to completion.
  • Preparing draft documents, including witness statements and processing evidence.
  • Attending conferences and court.
  • Maintaining accurate time costing procedures.
  • Implementing recommendations made by your supervisor following monthly file reviews.
  • Ensuring compliance with file management.
Key Skills:
  • Demonstrating passion and experience in a broad range of Clinical Negligence matters.
  • A strong academic background with a Law degree.
  • Legal experience as a Clinical Negligence Paralegal/Advisor.
  • A clear understanding and application of Clinical Negligence and CPR Laws.
  • Business acumen and the ability to market the Company.
  • Excellent communications skills to work effectively with all types of people.
  • Excellent analytical and organisational skills and the ability to use your own initiative.
  • A committed team player, self-motivated, and professional.
  • Excellent IT Skills, familiar with Microsoft Office applications and document management skills.
