We are seeking a passionate and driven Support Worker to join our team. In this role, you will play a vital part in helping vulnerable clients achieve positive life changes and build independent lives.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and deliver personalized support plans that prioritize client choice and control.
- Assist clients in addressing their diverse needs, including accessing essential services and resources.
- Provide guidance and support to help clients navigate the benefits system, such as Universal Credit and Housing Benefit.
- Collaborate with other professionals to ensure comprehensive and coordinated care for clients.
Essential Skills and Qualifications
- A strong understanding of the challenges faced by homeless and vulnerable individuals.
- Proficiency in basic IT skills, including Microsoft Office Suite.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving abilities.
- A full UK driving license and access to a vehicle for travel within the designated area.
- Commitment to ongoing professional development, including working towards a Level 3 SVQ qualification in Health and Social Care.
