About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Retail Store Supervisor to join our team at Superdrug. As an Assistant Retail Manager, you will play a key role in leading our sales team to achieve exceptional results and deliver an outstanding shopping experience for our customers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead and motivate a team of sales associates to achieve sales and service targets
  • Work closely with the Store Manager to identify opportunities to grow sales and improve operational efficiency
  • Develop and implement strategies to drive sales and customer engagement
  • Ensure optimum stock range and availability, while maintaining strict cost and stock control
  • Provide coaching and development opportunities to team members to enhance their skills and knowledge
  • Support the Store Manager in achieving business objectives and goals
Requirements
  • Previous experience in a retail management role, preferably with a fast-moving high street retailer
  • Strong leadership and coaching skills, with the ability to motivate and develop a team
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with colleagues and customers
  • Understanding of retail Key Performance Indicators, including sales, profit, and loss
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities
  • Willingness to carry out piercing services for customers (training provided)
