We are seeking a skilled and motivated Podiatrist to join our team at Torbay and South Devon NHS Foundation Trust.
About the RoleThis is an exciting opportunity for a dynamic and enthusiastic Podiatrist to work in our varied Podiatry service. As a Podiatrist, you will be responsible for providing assessment, treatment, and interventions for our high-risk caseload within Torbay and South Devon.
You will work closely with other community healthcare workers and provider agencies within a variety of care settings, including community clinics, domiciliary work, care homes, and contributing to the development of the podiatry team.
Key Responsibilities- Provide high-quality care to a caseload across the Torbay and South Devon area
- Work with a range of clinics, hospitals, health centres, and homes across Torbay and South Devon
- Manage and treat a caseload of patients across a variety of locations
- Deliver comprehensive assessments of podiatric need, relevant health education, planned podiatric care packages, and referrals to other healthcare professionals as required
- Travel around the Torbay and South Devon locality to undertake home visits
- Ability to travel around the Torbay and South Devon locality
- Clinical responsibility for delivering high-quality care to a caseload across the Torbay and South Devon area

Torbay Hospital provides acute care for the local community and has several community hospitals, and is a hot-spot for those who are considering living by the sea or within half an hour of Dartmoor National Park and an hour to Exmoor National Park.
