We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Social Value Officer to join our team at Morgan Sindall Property Services. As a key member of our Social Value Team, you will be responsible for maintaining a network of external stakeholders and community partners, ensuring social value commitments are delivered, and meeting required deadlines and quality.
Key Responsibilities:
- Maintain a network of external stakeholders and community partners, including training providers, residents, and public sector contacts.
- Ensure social value commitments are delivered, meeting required deadlines and quality.
- Complete case studies, social media content, and production of newsletters.
- Lead the apprentice training program, coordinating work experience placements, careers evenings, mock interviews, site visits, and mentoring.
- Develop and implement innovative programs that engage residents and address environmental concerns.
- Provide employability support and digital inclusion training in the community.
- Work with local schools and educational establishments, third sector organizations, and community groups to deliver social value initiatives.
- Use a social value calculator to measure and track social value outcomes.
About You
We are looking for a highly motivated and experienced individual with a strong background in social value, community engagement, and environmental programs. You will have a proven track record of delivering social value initiatives, working with external stakeholders, and developing innovative programs that engage residents and address environmental concerns.
Requirements:
- Previous experience in social value and community engagement.
- Strong knowledge of apprenticeships and safeguarding.
- Ability to work with local schools and educational establishments, third sector organizations, and community groups.
- Experience using a social value calculator.
- Valid full or automatic UK driving license, with a minimum of 12 months' experience.
