We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Retinal Screener to join our team at Liverpool University Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust. As a key member of our multidisciplinary team, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality eye care services to our patients.
Key Responsibilities- Perform ophthalmic photography and deliver high-quality images for retinal screening services.
- Work closely with our team to ensure accurate and timely screening results.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with patients, colleagues, and other healthcare professionals.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest clinical guidelines and protocols.
- Contribute to the development and implementation of new procedures and processes.
- GCSE grade C (or equivalent) or above in English, mathematics, and science.
- Relevant qualification at level 3 Certificate in Diabetic Retinopathy Screening 7359 (VRQ Level 3) or equivalent knowledge.
- Experience working in a healthcare environment, preferably in an ophthalmic setting.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to work accurately and efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Good color vision as assessed by the Ishihara test.
