About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Relief Children's Residential Care Worker to join our team at Lincolnshire County Council. As a Relief Children's Residential Care Worker, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care and support to children in our residential care settings.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide individualized care and support to children in our residential care settings, promoting their physical, emotional, and social well-being.
  • Work collaboratively with our multidisciplinary teams, including social workers, therapists, and other care professionals, to ensure comprehensive care and support for children.
  • Develop and maintain positive relationships with children, their families, and other stakeholders, promoting a sense of belonging and connection.
  • Participate in training and professional development opportunities to enhance your skills and knowledge in working with children and young people.
  • Contribute to the creation of a safe, supportive, and nurturing environment that promotes the well-being and resilience of children.
Requirements
  • No prior experience in residential care is required, as comprehensive training will be provided.
  • A kind and caring nature, with a passion for supporting children's welfare and well-being.
  • Basic IT skills and a willingness to obtain a QCF qualification in working with children.
  • A driving license is desirable but not essential.
