The Role: Support Worker

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Support Worker to join our team in Selly Park. In this role, you will play a vital part in enhancing the lives of individuals we support by assisting them with their daily activities, promoting their well-being, and encouraging their active participation in community life.

Your Responsibilities:

  • Provide personalized care and support to individuals with diverse needs, including assistance with personal hygiene, medication management, and daily living tasks.
  • Foster a positive and supportive environment that encourages independence, self-expression, and social interaction.
  • Accompany individuals on outings and activities, promoting their engagement in the community and enriching their experiences.
  • Collaborate with other team members to develop and implement individualized care plans that meet the unique needs of each person we support.
  • Maintain accurate records and documentation, ensuring clear communication and continuity of care.

Essential Skills and Qualities:

  • A genuine passion for supporting individuals with disabilities and making a positive difference in their lives.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, empathy, and the ability to build strong relationships based on trust and respect.
  • A proactive and resourceful approach to problem-solving, with a commitment to providing high-quality care.
  • A valid UK driving license is essential as you will be required to transport individuals to appointments, activities, and outings.
