Psychology Graduate Opportunity

We are working with a wonderful school in Richmond who are looking for an SEMH Teaching Assistant to start with them this academic year.
The Role:- Long-term contract until July with the opportunity to extend into the next academic year
- £96+ per day (inclusive of holiday pay) paid on a weekly basis
- An inclusive school with a focus on child and staff wellbeing
- Working in and out of the classroom, supporting students with SEMH needs through 1:1 and small group work
- At least a 2:1 Psychology-related degree from a Russell Group University or one of the UK's top 20 universities
- Experience working with SEN and/or SEMH needs (desirable but not essential)
- Aspirations to pursue a career within the Education sector
This role will give you the opportunity to gain experience working with SEMH needs, supporting students facing challenges both in and out of the classroom. Resilience is key as you will be supporting and guiding them, whilst trying to get to the root of their behaviours and emotions.
