Location: Halifax, West Yorkshire

Salary: £44,678 + benefits + overtime

Schedule: 40 hours per week - Alternating days and nights (Monday – Friday)

Our stone processing facility in Halifax processes over 250 tonnes of stone daily, and you could be a vital part of this dynamic team. We are currently looking for a committed and skilled Versatile Maintenance Technician to enhance our state-of-the-art plant in Halifax.

What does the role involve?

  • Perform a variety of planned and responsive engineering tasks on-site to ensure seamless plant operations
  • Efficiently and safely address equipment maintenance and troubleshooting
  • Work on diverse machinery including hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical/electronic systems
  • Be ready to work independently and at heights to manage challenging tasks

Safety is our utmost priority, and strict compliance with safety protocols, including the use of RPE equipment and hearing protection, is essential.

If maintaining a work-life balance is important to you, this role offers a stable schedule from Monday to Friday, rotating between day and night shifts.

Required Skills:

  • Strong Electrical Maintenance & Engineering expertise with exposure to Mechanical Engineering in an industrial environment
  • Time served/apprentice with relevant Electrical Qualifications
  • Thorough understanding of environmental and health and safety regulations
  • Practical, hands-on approach with the ability to operate in challenging environments
  • Extensive experience in plant maintenance and electrical troubleshooting
  • Excellent communication skills to collaborate with maintenance and production teams
  • Comfortable working at heights using equipment such as ladders, cherry pickers, and scaffold towers
