About the Role:

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Healthcare Support Worker to join our team at NHS Scotland. As an Allied Health Professional, you will play a vital role in supporting the delivery of high-quality patient care.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with experienced clinicians and healthcare professionals to provide meaningful support to patients.
  • Support discharge and continue treatment plans for patients, initiating treatments within specified parameters.
  • Contribute to training and development of staff, ensuring a high standard of care is maintained.
  • Manage day-to-day operations, including ordering, stock management, and internal administrative processes.

Requirements:

  • Formal qualification at HNC Level or equivalent level of experience in a health/education/social care environment.
  • Short specialist courses relevant to specific clinical areas.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills, with a focus on delivering high-quality patient care.

Working with Our Team:

You will work closely with a multidisciplinary team, including Dietitians, Occupational Therapists, Physiotherapists, and Speech and Language Therapists. As a Healthcare Support Worker, you will be an integral part of our team, contributing to the delivery of exceptional patient care.
