Role OverviewWe are a global company that values safety, ethics, quality, innovation, and employee opportunity. As an installation mechanic, you will play a critical role in ensuring the safety of passengers and technical stakeholders by safely installing elevator and escalator units.
Key Responsibilities- Install new elevators with quality and efficiency
- Work in a safe manner in accordance with all Environmental Health & Safety guidelines
- Liaise directly with customers while on site to build a good working relationship
- Conduct inspections before and after installation to ensure high quality and safety standards
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- Knowledge of elevator equipment and the ability to apply elevator engineering principles to installation
- Qualification to install elevators to the standards set in your country
- A driver's license (as necessary)
- At least 6 months of experience in the field of elevators, ideally acquired in the assembly activity or on-site installation
- Good electrical and mechanical skills
- Comfort with plan reading and calculations
As an installation mechanic at Otis, you will have the opportunity to work on a variety of projects, develop your skills, and contribute to the success of our company.
