About the Role:
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Care Assistant to join our team at Hall Road, a residential epilepsy specialist care provider in Sutton.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support clients with daily activities and ensure their care plans are established and followed.
- Provide personal care and administer medication as required.
- Assist clients with physical disabilities using trained techniques and aids.
- Transport and escort clients to appointments and activities.
- Work closely with managers to ensure clients are transported to all scheduled events.
- Support clients with medical, physical, and emotional needs while traveling.
- Manage client disputes and provide support to clients with their medical, physical, and emotional needs.
Requirements:
- Enhanced DBS clearance.
- Strong organisational, time management, planning, and communication skills.
- Flexible and professional approach to multi-site working.
- Proven reliability in terms of full attendance and timekeeping.
- Ability to work as part of a team and as an individual.
- Self-confidence and ability to manage challenging situations.
