About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Food Technologist to join our team at B3 Jobs Ltd. As a key member of our technical department, you will be responsible for ensuring the technical integrity and legal obligations of our food supply aspects.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and maintain the quality manual and other food safety documents, including HACCP, to ensure compliance with current food legislation.
  • Support the successful completion of customer and third-party audits and visits, and participate in the investigation of complaints and food safety close calls.
  • Challenge hygiene practices and standards to reduce food safety incidents, and train relevant personnel on quality management procedures and food safety.
  • Gather and submit data for packaging waste regulations and EPR, and maintain accurate records.
  • Collaborate with the technical department to develop and implement new processes and procedures.
About You

We are looking for a highly motivated and organized individual with a technical or quality background in food manufacturing, and a degree-level education in a related field. You should have excellent analytical and numerical skills, and be able to manage multiple projects simultaneously.

  • Strong understanding of GMP and Global Food Safety Initiatives, production processes, raw materials, allergens, and finished products.
  • Excellent Microsoft Office skills, including Excel.
  • Motivated and enthusiastic with a strong work ethic, and a willingness to take on new challenges.
  • Good communication and relationship-building skills with internal and external stakeholders.
What We Offer

We offer a competitive salary of £27,000 - £35,000, depending on experience, and a fast-paced and dynamic work environment.

The role is based in Berkshire, and the working hours are Monday - Friday, office hours.
