Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced and highly organized Pharmacy Technician to join our Aseptic Services team at Bradford Teaching Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust. This is an exciting opportunity to work in a dynamic and supportive environment, contributing to the delivery of safe and effective injectable medicines to patients.

Main Responsibilities

The successful candidate will be responsible for:

  • Managing the day-to-day operations of the aseptic unit, including the outsourcing of chemotherapy and CIVAS products.
  • Assisting in the development and implementation of new policies and services within the aseptic unit.
  • Working closely with the aseptic unit management and Quality Assurance teams to ensure the delivery of high-quality services.
  • Providing excellent communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to work effectively under pressure.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A Level 3 Diploma in Pharmacy Services Skills (NVQ) or equivalent.
  • Registration with the General Pharmaceutical Council (GPhC).
  • Minimum of two years post-qualification GMP experience.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with a wide range of healthcare professionals.
