About the Role

We are seeking an experienced and passionate echocardiographer to join our team at Warrington and Halton Teaching Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust. As a key member of our echocardiography department, you will be responsible for performing high-quality echocardiograms, mentoring trainee echocardiographers, and contributing to quality assurance activities.

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform transthoracic echocardiograms to a high standard, adhering to the British Society of Echocardiography minimum dataset and accompanying pathology guidelines.
  • Mentor and support trainee echocardiographers, ensuring they receive comprehensive training and guidance.
  • Contribute to quality assurance activities, including audits and service evaluation, to ensure compliance with departmental accreditation standards.
  • Participate in echo teaching sessions and drop-in sessions to discuss interesting and discordant scans.
