About the Role

We are seeking an experienced and passionate echocardiographer to join our team at Warrington and Halton Teaching Hospitals NHSFT. As a Senior Cardiac Physiologist, you will play a key role in supporting the service leads and contributing to the delivery of high-quality echocardiography services.

Key Responsibilities

  • Engage in all areas of echocardiography, including practical scanning of inpatients and outpatients, supporting trainee echocardiographers, and quality assurance activities.
  • Support the service lead in ensuring compliance with departmental accreditation quality assurance programs.
  • Mentor candidates undertaking society exams and act as a role model for high standards of echocardiography.
  • Participate in all aspects of transthoracic echocardiography and independently scan and write comprehensive reports.

Requirements

  • BSC in Clinical Physiology or equivalent training.
  • Achieved training program/experience.
  • Competent in recording and interpreting transthoracic echo.
