Position: Construction Site Supervisor

Reporting Structure: Directly reports to the Project Manager

Role Overview: We are seeking a proficient Construction Site Supervisor to join our dynamic team, focusing on minor projects within the ISA's Logistics and Utilities portfolio. You will play a pivotal role in ensuring the effective execution of projects within the highly regulated framework of the Sellafield nuclear licensed site.

Core Responsibilities:

  • Manage and oversee civil engineering projects from inception to completion, with a keen focus on timelines and financial constraints.
  • Lead subcontractors and on-site personnel, fostering a collaborative work environment.
  • Ensure adherence to safety, environmental, and quality protocols.
  • Provide consistent updates to clients regarding project advancements.
  • Assist in formulating and executing robust contract management processes.
  • Guarantee that teams fulfill all contractual obligations and safety standards.
  • Support team members in achieving safety objectives and optimal project delivery.
  • Plan, coordinate, and supervise team operations to achieve project goals.
  • Take responsibility for projects from initiation through to successful completion.
  • Monitor project progress and implement corrective measures as necessary.

Succession Planning and Resource Management:

  • Coordinate resources effectively to ensure successful project delivery.
  • Conduct performance evaluations with teams and address any arising issues.
  • Promptly resolve any delivery or welfare concerns.

Qualifications:

  • Background in engineering with practical experience.
  • Possession of a degree or vocational qualification with relevant experience.
  • Experience in regulated settings, preferably within the nuclear sector.
  • Strong leadership and communication capabilities.
  • Demonstrated success in project management.
