About the Role

The Sales and Marketing Director will be responsible for:

  • Developing and implementing a customer relationship management strategy to optimize customer awareness and improve customer service
  • Leading the marketing team to ensure the delivery of our strategic plans over the next 5 years
  • Ensuring a leading-edge social media presence
  • Marketing and launching new product ranges
  • Developing a distributor/agent network in existing and new geographies

About You

We are looking for a highly experienced and qualified individual with a strong background in sales and marketing. The ideal candidate will have:

  • A degree qualification, with a postgraduate business qualification desirable
  • 5 years or more experience in a B2B sales/marketing role at manager or director level, including UK-based SME experience
  • Product sales and marketing, and service provider experience
  • Product experience at high-end value, ideally technically complex products
  • Experience of high-value, small-volume production in a niche market
  • Experience of optical media-related products is a significant advantage
  • Experience running and building a team
  • Excellent communication skills
  • International experience with a demonstrable and proven track record of building sales in new geographies
  • Experience working overseas or speaking a second language is an advantage
  • Experience of successfully launching new product ranges
  • Experience with dealership networks, both setting up and managing established dealers
