Mental Health Nurse Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Registered Mental Health Nurse to join our team at Prometheus Safe and Secure. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing high-quality care to individuals with mental health conditions, building therapeutic relationships, and managing specific symptoms of mental illness.
Key Responsibilities- Provide care to individuals with a variety of mental health conditions, building therapeutic relationships.
- Manage the specific symptoms of mental illness, de-escalation, and helping patients overcome challenges.
- Liaise with doctors, social workers, and other professionals.
- Interact with patients' families and caregivers, offering advice and information on patients' conditions.
- Prepare and maintain patient records, producing care plans and risk assessments.
- Provide high-quality, evidence-based nursing care.
- Lead a staff team, including HCA's, throughout the patient conveyance or therapeutic observational service.
- Ensure adequate handover of patient details, including risk history and current presentation, from the Clinical Logistics Manager or healthcare professional responsible for the patient at the collection address.
- Provide crisis intervention to patients experiencing mental health difficulties during conveyance or therapeutic observational service.
- Current Valid NMC Pin
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong attention to detail and focus on accuracy
- Up to date Enhanced DBS
- Up to date Right to work in the UK
- Full UK Driving License
