Position Summary
We are seeking a Management Accountant who embodies a proactive attitude, is self-driven, and thrives in a team-oriented atmosphere. The ideal candidate will possess exceptional organizational skills, with a strong ability to prioritize tasks and manage their workload effectively. Proficiency in large business software, particularly Oracle, is a prerequisite.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the annual standard cost-setting process.
- Conduct inventory reconciliation and possess costing experience.
- Prepare monthly management accounts while ensuring the accuracy of all reported data.
- Analyze and report on departmental expenditures, efficiency measures, and manufacturing variances, highlighting any emerging trends.
- Oversee the analysis and reporting of Business Unit performance and results.
- Develop a comprehensive suite of reports for the contract manufacturing division.
- Assist the management team in formulating budgets and forecasts.
- Provide ad-hoc support to the Finance Controller and other members of the Management Team.
Qualifications and Skills
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
- Ability to process and interpret substantial volumes of data.
- Experience with Oracle or similar ERP systems.
- Familiarity with Hyperion or similar forecasting tools.
- Excellent communication and networking abilities.
- Knowledge of manufacturing costing.
- Proactive and adaptable approach.
- Business improvement mindset and skill set.
Education and Experience
- Qualified accountant.
- Experience in a high-volume manufacturing or FMCG environment.
- Familiarity with process improvement methodologies, such as Lean Manufacturing, is advantageous.
