To be considered for this role, you must hold an NVQ Level 3 in Health & Social Care. As a Senior Care Assistant, your key responsibilities will include:
- Managing the care team within the home
- Ensuring care staff adhere to CQC guidelines while providing exceptional care to residents
- Promoting and delivering high standards of care and supervising
- Instructing less experienced staff to enable them to fully contribute to the care provided
The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication and written skills, previous experience working in an elderly care setting, and be self-motivated, resilient, and well-organized. Previous supervisory experience within a care/nursing home setting and experience working with the elderly are also desirable.
The successful Senior Care Assistant will receive a competitive salary of £13.50 per hour and an annual salary up to £30,888. In return for their hard work and commitment, they will receive a range of benefits, including:
