This is an exciting opportunity for a standalone HR professional to work closely with Directors and drive HR initiatives that align with the organisation's business goals.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide expert advice and support on HR matters, including employee relations, performance management, and policy queries.
- Manage the full recruitment process, from drafting job descriptions to onboarding new hires.
- Handle employee relations issues, including disciplinary and grievance procedures, with a fair and practical approach.
- Develop and maintain HR policies and procedures to ensure compliance with UK employment law.
- Administer the performance review process and support learning and development initiatives.
- Maintain accurate employee records in compliance with GDPR.
- Prepare HR reports and metrics to support strategic decision-making.
- Lead initiatives to improve employee engagement and workplace culture.
Requirements
- CIPD Level 5 qualified.
- Minimum 2 years' experience in a HR generalist role, ideally in a fast-paced environment.
- Solid understanding of UK employment law and HR best practices.
- Proven experience managing employee relations issues.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage effectively at all levels.
- Highly organised with the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities.
- Proficiency in HR systems and Microsoft Office.
