About the Role

Kemp Recruitment is seeking a skilled Nightshift Supervisor to join our client's fleet maintenance team. As a Nightshift Supervisor, you will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth operation of our client's commercial vehicle maintenance and repair services.

Key Responsibilities
  • Complete comprehensive and preventative maintenance, repairs, and MOT preparation to ensure vehicles are roadworthy and meet regulatory standards.
  • Accurately diagnose faults to ensure replacement parts are fitted correctly and warranty claims are in line with terms.
  • Maximize productive time to achieve all Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and contribute to the team's overall success.
  • Complete job cards and service sheets in a timely manner to maintain accurate records and facilitate efficient workflow.
  • Work independently and as part of a team to achieve goals and objectives.
  • Perform all work and repairs in a safe and timely manner, exceeding industry standards and regulatory requirements.
Requirements
  • Hold an in-depth knowledge of commercial vehicles and trailers, including their maintenance and repair requirements.
  • Hold an HGV licence Class 1 (desirable but not essential).
  • Be a fully qualified HGV Technician with City & Guilds / NVQ level 3.
  • Be able to undertake all aspects of commercial vehicle maintenance and repair.
  • Have previous experience as a Nightshift Supervisor in a similar role.
