About the RoleWe are seeking a skilled and compassionate Recovery Worker to join our team. As a Recovery Worker, you will work directly with family members and individuals affected by substance use, providing structured support and interventions to help them achieve recovery.
You will be responsible for facilitating Family and Carers Peer Support groups, delivering high-quality person-centred interventions, and working with family members to address their needs and concerns.
Our ideal candidate will have experience working with vulnerable populations, excellent communication and engagement skills, and a deep understanding of substance use and its impact on families.
Key Responsibilities- Deliver high-quality person-centred interventions with family members and individuals affected by substance use.
- Facilitate Family and Carers Peer Support groups to provide a safe and supportive environment for family members to share their experiences and connect with others.
- Work with family members to address their needs and concerns, providing guidance and support to help them achieve recovery.
- Collaborate with other professionals to ensure a comprehensive and coordinated approach to supporting family members and individuals affected by substance use.
- Develop and maintain relationships with family members, building trust and rapport to facilitate effective support and interventions.
