Exciting Opportunity in the Automotive Aftermarket

We are seeking a highly skilled Global Product Specialist to join our dynamic team at The Lanes Group. As a key member of our team, you will play a crucial role in driving our client's success in the aftermarket industry.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Product Data Management: Add part numbers into our global Product Information Management (PIM) tool, ensuring accurate and up-to-date data.
  • Market Research: Maximize market coverage by researching new vehicle application linkages, staying ahead of the competition.
  • Competitor Analysis: Validate and research competitor cross-reference details to enhance our competitive positioning.
  • Data Maintenance: Maintain accurate data in our PIM tool, Excel files, and product relations, ensuring seamless data flow.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with photographers and internal teams to manage product photography, ensuring high-quality visual content.
  • Industry Liaison: Maintain TecDoc and liaise with teams such as Category, Product, Engineering, and Customers, fostering strong relationships.

Requirements:

  • Experience: 5+ years of experience in the Automotive Aftermarket or Motor Trade business.
  • Cataloguing Knowledge: Strong knowledge of cataloguing systems, including main dealer and aftermarket systems.
  • TecDoc Familiarity: Familiarity with TecDoc/TecDoc derivative systems is a plus.
  • Technical Skills: Strong Microsoft Office skills, attention to detail, and a team-player attitude.
