Job Purpose

We're currently seeking a Senior Frontend Engineer to join our smart, motivated, and cross-functional agile unit. As an experienced engineer, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality, scalable, and robust components for our customer-facing systems. Based in our offices, you will work with cloud-native technologies and help shape our AWS future.

Key Responsibilities

  • Contribute to the design, coding, testing, and delivery of applications and services across the full SDLC.
  • Contribute to coding standards and create unit tests.
  • Analyse existing systems and processes, offering incremental improvements.
  • Participate in code and design reviews, helping to improve overall software quality.
  • Identify opportunities for the adoption of new technologies.

Requirements

  • High proficiency and experience with React and associated tooling.
  • High proficiency and experience with Typescript and associated tooling.
  • In-depth practical experience in HTML5, CSS & JavaScript and building responsive websites.
  • Understanding and experience with RESTful web services and API design.
  • Understanding of Node.js & npm.
  • Experience with cloud native development and deployment inside AWS, API Gateways / Lambdas.
  • Familiarity with Unit testing, TDD, and automated frontend (unit/component) using jest and playwright.
  • Experience working with.NET stack a bonus.
