We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Senior Care Assistant to join our team at HC One. As a Senior Care Assistant, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional care and support to our residents, ensuring their physical, emotional, and social needs are met.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead a team of carers in providing high-quality care and support to residents, promoting independence and dignity.
- Assist the Registered Nurse and Care Manager in developing and implementing personalized care plans, ensuring residents receive the best possible care.
- Administer medication and provide essential physical and mental stimulation through a range of social and recreational activities.
- Maintain accurate records of care provided and build strong relationships with colleagues and residents.
Requirements:
- Hold an S/NVQ 2 or 3 Diploma in Health & Social Care or equivalent qualification.
- Have a background in person-centered care planning and knowledge of caring for people with dementia.
- Be able to manage time effectively, prioritize tasks, and maintain accurate records.
- Exhibit excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a focus on kindness, empathy, and compassion.
