About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Supporting Education Professional to join our dedicated team at Teaching Vacancies. The successful candidate will be required to work across all phases of the school to support and facilitate the academic, social, and personal development of children with a broad range of Special Educational and Disability Needs.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide high-quality support to children, catering for their individual needs and promoting a positive learning environment.
  • Work closely with teachers and other support staff to plan and adapt lessons and resources to suit the individual learning needs of children being supported.
  • Support and champion the school's ethos and values, promoting a culture of inclusivity and respect.
  • Be a positive role model, inspiring and motivating children to achieve their full potential.
  • Contribute to the development of the school, working collaboratively with colleagues to improve teaching and learning practices.

Requirements
  • Experience of working with children with Special Educational and Disability Needs.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with children, staff, and parents.
  • Ability to work flexibly and adapt to changing circumstances, prioritizing the needs of children and the school.
  • Commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children, with a strong understanding of child protection policies and procedures.
