NDT Specialist

About You

We are seeking a highly skilled NDT Specialist to join our team at Intertek. As a key member of our Site Services Department, you will be responsible for providing technical support and expertise in Phased Array UT and Contact UT. Your primary location will be at our NDT site in Derby, UK, where you will work closely with our team to deliver high-quality services to our clients.

Key Responsibilities:

• Liaise with clients to understand their technical requirements and provide expert advice on NDT techniques
• Develop and implement new NDT procedures to meet client needs and industry standards
• Collaborate with colleagues to ensure seamless delivery of services and maintain high levels of quality
• Travel to client sites as required to provide technical support and assistance
• Communicate effectively with clients and internal stakeholders to ensure successful project outcomes

Requirements:

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Practical experience with ISO17025/9001 implementation in site services inspection
• Familiarity with testing and assurance processes across various NDT disciplines
• Hold level 2 PCN qualifications in PAUT and UT contact for at least 4 years
• Experience in other NDT disciplines such as UTC, UTF, UTW, MT, PT would be beneficial
• Preferably experienced in testing carbon composites and novel materials
