We are seeking a skilled Buyer to join our team at Asda Stores Ltd, specializing in the Tapas & Salads category. As a key member of our commercial team, you will be responsible for delivering sales, pricing, and growth ahead of the market while managing the category P&L.

Key Responsibilities
  • Negotiate and deliver business plans with key suppliers and internal stakeholders.
  • Understand customer requirements, market trends, and competitors to implement strategies that meet their needs.
  • Track and negotiate key commodities, and deliver cost-to-serve programs with suppliers to ensure great value for our customers.
Requirements
  • Previous experience working as a Buying Assistant or a Buyer.
  • Strong commercial awareness and being highly numerate.
  • A strong understanding of customer requirements, market trends, and competitors.
