Operations Director
**About the Role**
We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Operations Director to lead our manufacturing business towards World Class Manufacturing standards. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for driving cultural and operational transformation, guiding our facilities towards excellence in efficiency and operational execution.
**Key Responsibilities:**
* Lead the strategic and day-to-day operations of the manufacturing plant, ensuring the highest levels of productivity, quality, and safety.
* Spearhead cultural transformation initiatives to foster a high-performance, collaborative, and inclusive work environment.
* Develop and implement strategies to achieve World Class Manufacturing (WCM) standards, focusing on continuous improvement, lean manufacturing, and operational excellence.
* Drive efficiency across production lines, utilizing lean principles, Six Sigma, and other methodologies to eliminate waste, reduce costs, and enhance output.
* Collaborate cross-functionally with engineering, quality, supply chain, and HR teams to align operational goals with the overall business objectives.
* Monitor and optimize KPIs, ensuring strong performance across key metrics such as safety, quality, delivery, and cost.
**Requirements:**
* Proven experience in a senior operations role within automotive, aerospace or similar manufacturing or a related high-volume, complex manufacturing environment.
* A track record of leading operational and cultural transformation projects, with measurable success in moving a facility closer to World Class Manufacturing standards.
* Expertise in lean manufacturing, Six Sigma, or other operational excellence methodologies.
* Strong leadership and people management skills, with the ability to influence at all levels and develop high-performing teams.
* Excellent communication, strategic thinking, and problem-solving abilities.
